The house is just completely amazing.   It was very clean when we arrived and was actually ready a couple minutes early.   The pool guy was there several times which made everything look really nice.  We loved and enjoyed all the indoor and outdoor spaces.   I really appreciated your help with collecting the payments and for answering all my questions along the way.   Your dedication and professionalism is very much appreciated!

The best family reunion ever at Pine Island Lodge! The house is the perfect venue for a large group. We had fifty of my extended family members from across the country. All of them raved about the quality, location and amenities of the house. We never felt crowded and there were no noise issues even with multiple babies, teens and college age kids. Fantastic views from all porches, and gathering areas. The kitchens were fully stocked with everything needed and seamless for caterers making dinners and for all of us cooking our own breakfast and lunch. The pool area, movie theater and game rooms were enjoyed by all age groups. Anne-Marie South and her team provided superior communication and assistance with any questions or requests we had before and during our stay. You will be so glad you booked this house. We can’t wait to go back! 10/10

I cannot say enough wonderful things about hosting our wedding at the Pine Island Lodge this past May 2025. We had 60 of our family and friends stay at the house with us for the week before the wedding and had plenty of space. So many people had to work from home for half of the week and had ample space to spread out. The house was fully stocked with kitchen supplies, the AC worked wonderfully, the sheets and pillows and beds were so comfortable, incredible water pressure in every bathroom- i mean seriously! Communication was clear and quick from Anne Marie and team from the moment we booked all the way through to the end of our stay. Our friends and family were raving about the house and the week and even want to plan another family vacation to come back to the same house! Seriously, 12/10 wedding experience, 10/10 family vacation experience. The only thing i wished we figured out sooner was the music. The system they use is a little weird- make sure you sign into your accounts BEFORE the maintenance man leaves and ask him to explain how to use the system!

Our family has been visiting OBX every summer since 1988. We have grown from 15 to 82, utilizing large homes for the past 6 years. In 2024, we had our first stay at Pine Island Lodge. What a wonderful property! Spacious, clean, comfortable. The larger homes today offer open floor plans in common areas which are great for gathering a large group but without walls or other barriers, the sound of the group is quite challenging. PIL has provided bends and bumps to reduce the sound challenges in the dining rooms and side living spaces. Ann Marie was our concierge and she was so responsive during the entire rental process. And we benefited from the generosity of the owner to have cabana service at the ocean each day. Wow! That was wonderful. My only complaint is the lack of clarity on small appliance availability. There were more than I saw in pictures or on lists, such as crock pots, blenders, hand mixers. Our group makes dinner each night so appliances provided in the house is important for meal planning. Our group loved this home and want to come again and again!

The Pine Island Lodge is the nicest, high quality, beach house we have stayed in over the past 40 years. There were 75 of us and at times the place seemed empty. Plenty of sitting, lounge, bar, and play areas to fit everyone's taste. The deck space was great, and the deck furniture was plentiful and high quality. The pool was amazing and large enough for all of us. I can't say enough about how nice this house and experience was - from the booking with Ann-Marie South, to the great beach package from OBX Beach Cabana Services, to the cleanliness of the place, and lastly the great memories we made with our kids and grandkids. We're already looking forward to a return trip.

We can't say enough about our wonderful experience at The Pine Island Lodge. No detail was left behind in the planning of this enormous vacation home. Although there were 80 of staying in the house at times, it never felt crowded. The kitchen, dining area, and bars are perfect for entertaining. The ice machines were very convenient. Our friends and family enjoyed the large pool and the private beach access. One of the best features of The Pine Island Lodge is the variety of decks that offer amazing views! The bridal suite offered luxury and privacy for us and was ideal for day of wedding preparations! We enjoyed our stay immensely and would recommend The Pine Island Lodge to anyone who is looking for a large vacation rental in the Outer Banks. Lastly, we would like to extend a huge thank you to Anne-Marie South with Atlantic Realty who was extremely responsive and helpful throughout the entire process and especially during the week of our stay. We are very appreciative!

United Needs & Abilities took a group of individuals with developmental disabilities and staff who support them on a week-long trip. Everyone had a fantastic time. Pine Island Lodge was accessible for those who utilize wheelchairs and those who have other mobility challenges. The lodge is roomy, comfortable, and beautiful. The theater room and arcade were enjoyed by all as was the ballroom for a wonderful night of karaoke. Anne Marie and the rest of the staff at Atlantic Realty did everything in their power to make sure that we had a fantastic time and we most certainly did. We hope to come back soon.

We had a great week celebrating my daughter and son-in-law's wedding. Anne Marie, manager of this property, was amazing. She was very responsive to me prior to booking and throughout our entire stay. Everything about this time is dreamy!

Since the 80's I have put on retreats that I refer to as Escapes. I have now had the best. Renting this huge house and putting 45 quilters inside was one great time. We sewed on sewing machines, laughed, made new friends and all without worry. There are 3 washers and 3 driers that kept our clothes clean. The professional kitchen was busy with our caterer cooking outstanding food for us. We even had a room for a massage table and were treated to that as well. The house worked out perfectly for all our needs. Thank you for the past two years of great times at Pine Island Lodge! We shall return.
