We empathize with all guests and everyone affected by the COVID 19 pandemic. Our staff continues to follow the latest CDC and industry guidelines as well as daily updates from state and county officials. This unprecedented event is causing rapid changes on the Outer Banks and our staff is doing our best to answer phone calls and all reservation inquiries. At this time, our office is still open daily from 9am to 5pm. However, many of our staff members are working remotely. To limit exposure, our office lobby will be closed to the public and vendors will need to contact our maintenance department for keys and access codes to properties.

Guests who wish to cancel their Outer Banks Vacation due to COVID19 concerns or quarantine requirements in their home state must submit their cancellation in writing so that we may open up the week for re-rental. The standard cancellation policy terms will apply.

Red Sky Travel Insurance at 866-889-7409 to make a claim.
14. TRANSFER/CANCELLATION POLICY--A
Transfer Fee in the amount of $150 will be charged for any reservation
that changes dates on the same property within the same rate period.
Transfers cannot be made within 30 days of arrival. Any transfer that
does not adhere to these terms will be considered a cancellation.
Confirmed reservations require a Cancellation Fee equal to 10% of the
rent amount and Administrative Fee to be charged on any cancelled or
changed reservation. If a reservation is cancelled, no refunds can be
made until the property has been re-rented and confirmed. If the
property is not re-rented, Tenant's entire rent amount must be
forfeited. In addition, no refunds of any kind other than the
aforementioned cancellation refund can be made without authorization
from the property Owner. If property is re-rented at a discounted rate,
Tenant will only be refunded the discounted rate amount less any
applicable fees. All cancellations MUST be received in writing.
Tenants who purchased Travel Insurance must make claims with the
insurance company directly. Travel Insurance is non-refundable.
Housekeeping -- Our cleaning staff follows industry guidelines for sanitizing and disinfecting homes after each guest. We use commercial quality cleaning products approved by the EPA to disinfect COVID 19 and our staff is professionally trained on their use. The linen service we employ is a commercial laundry that uses high heat washers and dryers in order to sanitize linens. Homes are inspected for cleanliness after each guest leaves and before each guest arrives to ensure guest satisfaction. Our cleaning staff has been instructed to pay special attention to high traffic touch surfaces including light switches, remote controls, and door handles during this outbreak as an extra precaution.
