I'm not sure the process could be any simpler and straightforward. This year, we were even allowed in early, which was outstanding! Thanks so much for that opportunity. As long as we're staying on the Outer Banks, we'll use Atlantic Realty. We really like Timberland and hope to return. The fact that you provide beach equipment and chairs in the downstairs storage is a real plus. Thank you!

Wonderful Stay

A wonderful stay. The location was a quick walk to the beach; and an easy bike ride to the shops and activities around Duck. The house was very well stocked, clean and had plenty of space to fit our group. Communication from Atlantic Reality was quick and easy, I would definitely recommend any family to rent the Timberland. Thank you for hosting us, I appreciate you for having us in your wonderful home!

Great place!

Great place!! Place was beautiful with lots of balconies and outside space. Private setting and super short walk to a private beach. Loved our stay and so much to do nearby!!

You Won't Be Disappointed

Bottom line: We loved this place and hope to return! Pros: · It's spacious, clean and well appointed. The home is obviously cared for. · The kitchen is by far the most well-equipped of any beach house I've rented. State of the art appliances and endless accessories. · It is actually closer to the beach than we thought when we first rented it. A very short walk. · Perfect proximity to the Town of Duck. Close enough for a good walk. · Great outdoor shower and other beach amenities. · Wifi actually is "high speed." · Quiet neighborhood, great atmosphere. Cons: · Oddly, the "front" door is in the rear and opens into the master bedroom. The actual "front" door is a sliding glass door that doesn't track smoothly. · It's a bit pricey. But, honestly, overall, we considered it a great value. · We're grateful to the owners and Atlantic Realty for making it available.

Great Place to Stay!

Great place to stay!! This home was perfect for our family with four children! Plenty of sleeping options. Great quiet street that led to a not so far away private beach access. The best was that under the house there were chairs, boogy boards, beach toys, a wagon for transporting the beach stuff, fishing poles, an umbrella, sports balls...lot of stuff! Inside there were games, books and movies too! The kitchen was well stocked. The home was clean and comfortable (aside from the couch). They supplied hand soap and there was laundry soap and a few extra toilet paper rolls. There was not dish soap or dishwasher soap or washcloths for washing dishes or wiping up so you may need to bring those. The house really was perfect for our family's stay and will book again! No need to try anywhere else!

Our Home Away

We have stayed here almost all of the past five years. We love the place. It is very clean and roomy and only a short walk to the beach.

Answer:

The loft area is a sitting area located at the end of the upstairs hallway. It does not have a door, but is separated enough to where you could watch TV, take a nap, or read a book.
