This home welcomes up to 2 pets for an additional fee of $25 per day per pet ($175 minimum) plus tax. Pets shall be limited to (2) domestic, housebroken adult dogs (no puppies). Puppies are defined as dogs less than 18 months of age.

Annual Family Beach Trip
Our family stayed in this house for our annual beach trip and loved it. Very clean, great location and great view of course. Decking boards were all new and outdoor furniture as well, very nice. The only down side was not having a bigger outdoor deck at top for all to sit out on and enjoy the view. I would totally stay there again and recommend.

Kudos to the Owners
My family and I stayed at Lovelady last year. It is the most amazing place that we have ever stayed at OBX. The house is beautifully furnished, and the views are simply beautiful. The location is very convenient to shopping. After staying at Lovelady, we would not consider anywhere else. Kudos to the owners.

Love this vacation home!
This vacation home has become our favorite in OBX over the past few years. Our kids always talk about "yellow house" and going back. Our stay in May '21 was our second visit to the home and both times we have stayed here we had the best and most relaxing vacations yet. Great location, amazing views. If this home ever comes on the market I will buy it!

Nice Location
Location is close and convenient to restaurants, shops, grocery store. Beautiful view and enjoyed being able to sit inside with view of ocean and beach when too hot outside. Be aware public beach access is one property over so beach out front gets crowded. We were able to walk to the right to avoid the crowds. Sunrises are awesome. New washer was installled while we were there as old one broke down. Dryer is on it?s last leg - old and rusty. Grills are dirty and rusty. House needs upgrade in appliances and furnishings. Deck with rusted nails and broken slats. A/C works well. Beds were comfortable. Overall we enjoyed our stay due to location.

Thank you so much for your review.  The salt air definitely takes its toll on anything metal on the OBX.  We appreciate you letting us know about the dryer and the grill.  We'll get maintenance to replace them promptly.

Perfect family beach home!
My family and I absolutely loved staying in this home in August 2019. It was perfect for us, our children and our pets. The views are amazing. Easy access to the beach and to restaurants in the area. We loved it so much we cannot wait to go back. We visit KDH every year and this home will be atop our list to rent again in the future.

Perfect for the 6 of us!
We stayed at this rental, and it's name describes it perfectly, Lovely Lady. It is conveniently located to the area, and the beach is very quiet. It had all the necessary kitchen tools, and the arrangement was good for several cooks at one time. It worked well for 6 adults, more would have been difficult. We definitely would have stayed again this year, but it was already booked.

Baby Equipment is not provided in our homes as we have no way to verify which items may be part of a safety recall.  We recommend either bringing your own baby equipment or renting it from one of several local companies in the area such as BabyQuip,  or Moneysworth Home Equipment Rentals.
