Property was close to everything! Easy to get to the beach and restaurants. Communication was easy. Best of all my dog loved it! House was very roomy and open, perfect for a large family! Would rent again when we come back. Oh and the sunsets!!! Date of arrival - June 22, 2024

Hurricane Charley’s was a great place to stay! Super close to the beach and walking distance from the nice town of duck! Very clean property and the sunset views are amazing from the deck. Would stay here again without a doubt! Very pet friendly location!

Hurricane Charlie's was clean and a great place for me, my husband, my young son, and our dog to stay for the week. The beach is about a ten minute walk (possibly less without a 1 y/o in tow), and you can also easily walk to the shops at Duck. We had a great time at Hurricane Charlie's!

We had a lovely week in Duck it was surprisingly crowded for this time of year. This is a cute place with a very well equipped kitchen. Nothing is fancy here, but we travel with a dog, so we don't expect people who have just renovated their properties to rent to us. The carpets are fresh and the bathrooms have gotten an update from the original. You can walk to everything from here. And if you're into games or jigsaw tables, there are two tables ... one for games and one for dining.

Hurricane Charlies is a great beach house! We were walking or biking distance from all the shops and restaurants in Duck. The beach is right up the street and easy to access; by far, our favorite part was watching the sunset on the deck. Overall the house is a little older but its cozy and well-appointed. The kitchen seemed like it had new floors which was nice, and we had everything we needed. If you're planning to grill, just note the charcoal grill has holes in the bottom so we couldn't really use it all (and its already on the smaller end). Otherwise, cooking indoors was a breeze, and there were plenty of beds, tables, and seating areas - both indoors and outdoors. There was some construction happening next door but other than a few early AM wake-ups it really wasn't an issue, and it seems like it will be done soon. Atlantic Realty was very nice, responded quickly, and overall made checking in and out really easy. We recommend this place for anyone considering staying in the Outer Banks!
