Welcome to Amazing Grace aka Looney Dunes!
This pet friendly home welcomes you with classic and comfortable furnishings. Plenty of windows let in natural light and awe inspiring views (please note due to mother nature and the shifting sands that occur with a living sand dune, views may vary)! The Pelican Park neighborhood location provides the ideal setting for rest and relaxation. The large sunroom is one of the best features of this home and provides a perfect place to relax with a book or enjoy morning coffee. This enclosed room is also the perfect spot for family games and puzzles no matter the weather outside. Other entertainment options available include 4 flat screen TVs with a 65 inch Smart TV in the living area (available for streaming movies and shows), a DVD player, as well as Wireless Internet Access.
The unique floorplan includes a large brick fireplace in the great room as well as a spiral staircase to a loft. There are 3 full bedrooms, each with a bath including a King Bedroom, Queen Bedroom with Futon, and Bunk Bedroom with 2 additional Twins. The beach access for Amazing Grace aka Looney Dunes is located right next door at the Pelican Park public access providing a wooden walkway that leads right to the beach.
Located at milepost 20 in South Nags Head, Amazing Grace aka Looney Dunes is near the Pea Island Wildlife preserve, the Bodie Island Lighthouse, and the Oregon Inlet Fishing Center.
You may also want to plan a day trip to Downtown Manteo, Hatteras Island, and even Ocracoke Island during your stay. Take advantage of the Free Daily Activities Atlantic Realty's Fun N Sun Pass has to offer. You will want to take the short stroll to the Outer Banks Fishing Pier. While there, be sure to stop by Fishheads Bar and Grill for a burger and cool drink.
This home is a pet friendly vacation home. Pets shall be limited to (2) domestic, housebroken adult dogs (no puppies). Puppies are defined as dogs less than 18 months of age. $175 Pet Fee will apply per dog.

Best baby moon and planning to return
My husband and I came here for a week in November when I was pregnant and I've been meaning to write this review for a while. We had amazing weather and loved the location. We spent a lot of time on the beach and exploring the area. Sunsets on the sound and the sand dunes were beautiful, cool lighthouse nearby and tons of great restaurants. The house is beautiful, it felt clean and updated and more like someone's home than a neglected rental. In my experience rental homes often feel like a garage sale mish mosh of furniture but this felt more like a hotel or someone's primary home. Being first row on the beach was incredible.The easy access to go for walks on the beach or hang out and walk back to the bathroom was perfect. Sitting on the back patio and listening to the ocean at night was perfect. Our days were filled with activities and our nights were relaxing by the beach. We stayed at the house last week. The inside of the house was wonderful. The bedrooms where nice and comfortable.The kitchen table and benches are a piece of art.The one thing is the pictures of the ocean side must be very old. I took our grand kids there because of it being ocean front as the pictures show.. Well the dunes are about ten foot from the back of the house so seeing the ocean was impossible from the back deck.- Anonymous U , Posted: 06/01/2022
Visited With The Owners.
Was blessed to meet the new owners of this home, when obx opened back up this year. They have done a wonderful job upgrading this home. Awesome location and have invested in a great job decorating this home. The dining table, master bed and bench on the screened in porch are too die for.
