Corolla, pronounced Kuh-RA-Luh, is located at the Northern End of the Outer Banks roughly 16 miles north of Duck, NC. Best known for the large population of Wild Spanish Mustangs that openly roam the beaches, this area has a unique history rich with OBX culture. Corolla is home to the well known Whale Head Club, a 19th century hunt club established in 1920 by Edward Collins Knight Jr. a lover of nature and waterfowl hunting. Located a stones throw away from this 1920's bright yellow mansion, you'll find the Currituck Lighthouse. A visit to the OBX wouldn't be complete without walking up the 220 steps to the top of this unique red brick lighthouse. From the top, you'll be able to see from sound to sea and enjoy unmatched views of the Island

What is the Weather like in Corolla?

The weather in Corolla, North Carolina is sunny in the Summer and cool in the Fall.
