I-64 through Hampton Roads Bridge Tunnel to VA 168 (Nags Head Exit). Travel South on VA 168 (Chesapeake Expressway-Toll Road) to US 158 (Barco, NC). There is no turn-the road changes names/numbers. Continue on US 158 South to Outer Banks.
Alternate Route
From I-64 at Hampton, VA, travel South on I-664 through Monitor-Merrimac Bridge Tunnel; Take I-64 towards Norfolk/Virginia Beach; travel South on US 17 at Deep Creek, VA, to South Mills, NC. Follow 343 South on US 158 to Outer Banks.
From Raleigh and South
Travel I-64, US 64/264. From I-95 travel East to US 64 to NC/US 158.
Alternate Route
VIA I-95, US 64/264. Travel East US 64 from I-95 to Williamston, NC, go North on US 17 to US 158 at Elizabeth City-continue to South on US 158 to Outer Banks.
