Atlantic Realty 30th Anniversary

Atlantic Realty of the Outer Banks will celebrate our 30th Anniversary in 2012 and to mark the occasion we plan a full year of contests, promotions and giveaways!!  We also want to take this opportunity to highlight some of the homes and homeowners that have been with us since the beginning. 

Then and Now . . . . .

The Outer Banks was very different in 1982 when Atlantic Realty emerged from the Realty World Real Estate company in Kitty Hawk. When we began this journey, our office was small with just 60 cottages and condos.   The Outer Banks building boom was just beginning and Duck and Corolla were still only accessible by dirt road. Many vacation rental homes didn't have air conditioning and most cottages, as they were called, didn't have telephones or TV.  The Outer Banks was a true escape. 

Today, the Outer Banks has over 25,000 vacation rental homes and condos from the 4 wheel drive area of Carova to South Nags Head.  Homes come equipped with the latest techonology and luxurious amenties including Private Pools, Hot Tubs and Theater Rooms. 

Although many things have changed over the years, one thing that has remained constant is Atlantic Realty's commitment to customer service.  Our #1 priority is to make sure your family has the most memorable Outer Banks vacation ever!  Not only is our friendly and helpful staff the reason Atlantic Realty has been going strong for over three decades -- but our Owners and Guests as well.  Some have been with us through the duration, and for that we are thankful and will feature them throughout the year.

Facebook Photo Contest

How long has your family vacationed on the Outer Banks?  Do you have photos of those early vacations?  We are looking for vintage vacation photos along with stories of what an Outer Banks beach vacation was like for your family through the years.  If you would like to share your photos (and story) please email them to contest@atlanticrealty-nc.com.  All photos submitted will be entered into a contest in one of 3 categories.  Guests and Fans will vote on the photos and the top 3 photos will win a prize:

Grand Prize:  3 night stay in an oceanfront condo in Duck*

1st Prize:  Free portrait seating with a local photographer to capture your new family vacation memories.

2nd Prize:  $100 Dinner Gift Certificate to Kelly's, Pamlico Jack's or Mako Mike's restaurant (your choice).

Photos will be featured on Atlantic Realty's Facebook page and will be open to fan voting.  The photo with the most votes will be selected as the winner. 

*3 night stay does not include linens or cleaning cost and is limited to stays between Labor Day and Memorial Day (excluding holidays).
