Flying Free is one of the best houses I've stayed in. The location is excellent - great beach and surf views. The layout is very convenient with 2 bedrooms on each side of the house. The outside shower with the hose is very convenient (note - bring a nozzle). I've never been in a house with a kitchen as well furnished as this one - plenty of dishes, eating utensils and pots and pans.

This beach house was perfect for our family. Great location and what a view! We go to Nags Head every year and stay in different houses but ever since staying in Flying free...we will be back here next year! I cannot tell you enough how much we loved this house. Had everything to offer and more.

We have rented this home for many years now and simply love the location and its physical layout ..like having the beds made...thanks for the hose and blender this year...hopefully next year the obsevation deck steps will have passed inspection. The owners seem to go out of their way to make things nice, but according to the comment book, the weather and town don't always cooperate. I have always enjoyed working with atlantic Realty...

Flying Free was the perfect rental for our family: right on the beach with beautiful views! It had everything we needed: 4 bedrooms/ 2 on each side of the house with the central living area & kitchen in the center. Our week was sunny and hot and we had a wonderful time.

I loved every minute that we spent at Flying Free. Accommondations were perfect, house could not have been better. The view from the screened in porch were just breath taking. We plan on going back next year, same time of year.

One of the best vacations I have ever been on. House was fully equipped, right on the beach, and found everything to be homey, and inviting. I plan on coming back in 2011.

We absolutely loved our vacation in this house. The pictures on-line do not do it justice. We had everything we could have needed and more. There was plenty of room for the six of us and with a tv in each room plus the living room the couple times we watched tv everyone could see thier favorite show with no fights. There were also books, games and puzzles galore. The views from the house are amazing and there was nothing better than sitting on the porch watching the dolphins swim by. The beach is beautiful and there were shells for miles. We loved watching the pelicans and seagulls and even saw a ray splashing on the beach on evening before it quickly swam back out to sea. The owner was wonderful calling to make sure everything was ok the night we checked in. The one small problem we had (the outdoor shower wouldn't turn off) was resolved quickly and had we not gone down to check we wouldn't have even known they were there fixing it as they came quietly, fixed it and were on their way again in no time. Check in/out couldn't have been easier. We got a lot of great information about things to do in the area from the agency and the owner in her guest book. This was our first vacation to the outer banks and we really couldn't have been happier. We would be more than happy to use this agency again. In our short time at the Flying Free we felt right at home and we can't wait to go back and stay there again!

We had the bad fortune to arrive in the Outer Banks several days ahead of a freak November storm. The house was great - a charming, classic beach house with a great view (with the beach as our front yard)and everything we needed to feel at home. If you're looking for a McMansion with all the bells and whistles, this is not it. But it was everything we were looking for. The house was clean. The kitchen was roomy and well appointed, and the location couldn't be beat. Because of the severity of the storm and threatening high tides,we were forced to move a safer distance away from the ocean. Atlantic Realty staff were great in locating another home for us to move to for the rest of our stay. It wasn't as nice as Flying Free, but comparable. Despite the weather, it was a good experience overall.

me and my friends decided we needed to get a way for a few days. the house was set up perfect for two families. everyone had there privacy and the view was spectacular. No matter what was going on we had a hard time not smiling. it truly was a great time. I will not lie time flew by while we were there and no one wanted to leave. The weather was not good all the time but we sat on the screened in porch watching the waves go by truly there is nothing more relaxing. the only suggestion we have is that in the kitchen the knifs were dull but next time we will bring our own. the crows nest was great. the view of the beaches is undescribeable. cant wait till next year to do it all again.

This is our second time staying at this lovely cottage. We have been blessed to be there each time for a 2 week stay. The only problem we have is in to the second week of both our stays, we experienced Noreasters (High Seas) This is a bit nerve racking when the water comes under the house. Too back N.C. goverment does not help the owners along the beach front to help kep their homes form going into the Ocean. We have been comming to N.C. Outer banks for 20 years and have observed alot of houses that are condemed or gone...TOO BAD. I sure hope this does not happen to Flying Free, my favorite by far!

We really enjoyed our time there. Everything we needed was there. Especially liked the set up of the house - two bedrooms and a bath on one side and two bedrooms and a bath on the other side. The house was very clean and new carpeting in the bedrooms. Loved the bird's nest. One morning I was sitting up there saw a pod of 10 dolphins. Would go back again.

Great week in an ocean front home. Loved hearing the ocean roar right outside. Great views from the crows nest especially at sunrise. Wonderful dog friendly place. Checking in and out couldn't have been easier or faster.

The entire family enjoyed their stay at Flying Free. We found it comfortable with many extras not expected. (ie., Beach toys for the kids and games for the entire family.) The unit was clean and ready upon our arrival. We spent the majority of the time during our Outerbanks stay right at the house. The beach was perfect and the sunrise and sunset view from the crows nest most exceptional. If I could suggest one thing... a blender would complete the kitchen. I would highly recommend this rental especially to anyone planning a family get-away.

This house was great! My husband, daughter, grandson, and mother-in-law LOVED this house. It was quiet and the beach is right there. A ramp would be good for more elderly or handicapped. A foot washing spigot would be nice at the door of the screened in porch too. That porch is AWESOME!!!
