When entering the driveway we were surprised to see thast the house looked directly at the dumpster and loading platform of the new food lion. The Foodlion was not shown in the aerial photo used for marketing and showing the location of the property and the property is located 1 block north of the location arrow on the map. The living quarters is adequate, kitchen supplies lacked what is typical of a beach house. Beach access was excellent.

We enjoyed our stay in the OBX and found the Petite Chateau to be very comfortable and conveniently located. It only took a few minutes to walk to the beach, and we were close to shopping, dining and sporting activities. The kitchen was well-equipped, and the accommodations were more than adequate. We would recommend this home to others for their vacation getaways.
