The outward appearance of this home does not do the beautiful inside of the home justice. We took our two daughters, their significant others and my husband's parents with us to the Outer Banks. All of us agreed this was the perfect house and location. The house was very clean with great views from the many decks and perfect distance from a wonderful, not crowded oceanfront beach. We all loved the fact that we had our own bathrooms and showers! The location offered many activities for our older children, from movie theater ( on a rainy day), to parasailing, and shopping. We, along with our in laws enjoyed the historical sites, and the short drive to Duck for a wonderful dinner out. We would definitely rent this home again--we all agreed this was the most relaxed vacation we have had with not a single worry about our accomadations. Thanks so much!!

Really felt the Miller house was very comfortable, clean and what a location, just a minute walk and you are getting your feet wet in the Atlantic. Highlight of the house was the upper floor family room/kitchen.... made our family want to stay there with the spacious area and balcony view. Big plus were the bathrooms with each bedroom. Hottub worked and was big enough for 4. Could update their outdoor grill and picnic table. Many beach houses seem to have a faint moldy scent being where they are.....not this house. Overall, a great experience in quiet surroundings.

Everything about this house is ideal, the location, the floor plan, the town, the beach, and the ammenities. First, the house is located in Kitty Hawk which, itself is an ideal part of the Outter Banks. The softest sand of the 120 mile coast without all the broken shells poking your feet. And, the best location for all the restaurants, shops and other things to do. Back to channel 1, the house. The house is directly across the street from the ocean which, is not always saying much concidering some locations of the OBX, may still be a half mile to the water. This house is approx 75 yards from the door to the water. The girls ready liked that is was so close to the bathroom. The guys liked it when it was time to fill the cooler. The house has 3 floors, the bottom floor is basically an appartment by itself with a full bath, a large bedroom with pyrimid buck beds(very comfortable, and a large family room complete with big screen TV, game system(Xbox I think), stereo and board games. The place has toys for the beach, umbrellas, kites, boogieboards and more. Additionally, the bottom floor also has a private deck with table/chairs and enclosed outdoor shower. The houses behind the property are a good football field away so, your not closed in by neighbors. The middle floor has 3 large bedrooms and a nice size laundry room(new appliances). A huge deck off the front overlooking the ocean and another off the back. The back deck is half screened-in with a juccuzzi inside(6 person new)and the other side open for sunbathing in the afternoon/evening. The top floor has a large master bedroom with a large private screened-in porch off the back. On the top floor is the kitchen, living room, and dinning room, all with excellent views of the ocean. There is a extra large front deck with half of it screened-in with a pic table. The other half of the deck is great for sunbathing in the morn/afternoon. Both offering great views of the ocean. This place really is ideal.
