Perfect location, nice updated kitchen. Bed not so comforable and could use central air. But we would stay there again. Love the Outer Banks and the Dolphin's Landing...

My family and I stayed at Dolphins Landing back in the summer of 98 and 99. We absolutely loved the convenience of it ALL. Our boys were very small at that time and to be able to just go right down to the beach and then to the outside shower was great. It was well maintained and clean and the views from the deck were great!! I have pictures of my husband with my boys on the swing downstairs and a picture of my two oldest looking out the upstairs window. We are contemplating coming back to the Outer Banks next summer and will definitely try to book Dolphins Landing. I now have four boys 15, 13, 11 and 9 and they would love this house as much as we did. The sea breezes at night were incredible and we never needed the air conditioning (at the time i don't believe there was any). We have stayed in several house down here and I believe this was one of our favorites. Joan and Fran Mulville

Really enjoyed our stay. The house is in a perfect location, with great ocean views and an uncrowded beach. In close proximity to restaurants, shopping and other necessities, Can watch dolphins and pelicans right from the deck. Nice separation from neighboring houses too. House is well kept and well stocked with kitchen dishes, cookware, appliances and utensils. Only complaint is the largest bed was on the small side and somewhat uncomfortable for two average sized adults.

We strongly recommend this quaint 3 bedroom cottage because of its beautiful view, location, deck , well stocked kitchen, and history!! We enjoyed not having homes on either side and cozy at-home feel. Easy access to the beach and due to being in the middle of the peninsula we were able to go on tours of the light houses, whale head club, hatteras, roanoke island, 4x4 beaches and much more!! At the same time we would like to thank the owners for sharing this slice of heaven w/ the public. Thanks again Martin and Joanna. We'll be back next year!

Dolphin's Landing is a quaint, no frills but comfortable, cottage type house right on the beach, wonderful location, with empty lots on either side. It's location couldn't be more perfect and the outside shower was used more than the inside one because of convenience. This was our second visit to Dolphin's Landing. Would sit on the deck each morning to watch the sun come up and the dolphins swim by....beautiful!! We recommend this home for smaller families and for the price. We will be back!!
