The Galliot was clean and provided alot of amentities...wish it was a little closer to the beach, but the walk did us good. The Outer Banks area is the best and we enjoy it sooo much.

Having vacationed with atlantic Realty for 21 years, we received the same type of service and have always been happy with the houses we have stayed in. With our kids older, the lower level proved a God sent for teenagers. The top level was open and spacious and the sleeping accomodations were excellent. We did miss staying directly on the beach though, i.e. no sound of the ocean waves and a longer hike to the beach. All in all, we would not hesitate to stay in the house again in coming years.

Enjoyed the cottage. Hot tub was perfect. Air conditioner worked great. Like the parking at beach access which was right down the road. Water/Beach was very nice at location. Like the fact we could walk to restaurants and stores on the main road. Three things - larger TV in living room needed (prices are so low), move that TV to room on 2nd floor and need a new Grill (gas would be perfect)

With 5 kids we had enough room so no one got on anyone else's nerves. The layout was great, the washer and dryer came in handy and we enjoyed the house. Only suggestion: more DVD players. Plenty of tv's, but more dvd players would have kept everyone from watching "wow, wow wubzy" 100 times!

The people at Atlantic Realty were very friendly and helpful. They were very responsive when we had issues (the hot tub went out twice and they were there that day to fix it). The home we stayed in was spacious, comfortable, and well located. We were between the bypass and the beach road and had only a short walk to the beach as well as being very close to our favorite eating spot (Mama Kwan's). We have two young children (2 1/2 and 1 1/2) and the place was safe for them to have free reign upstairs. It came with a high chair and a pack-and-play so that saved us a lot of space in our car. The best features for us was the large private deck for the master bedroom & jacuzzi tub in the bathroom as well as the 4 person hot tub outside. The large upstairs was perfect for entertaining - we had my brothers and sister and their families over for dinner and it comfortably fit 10 adults and 9 children for dinner. Our least favorite thing was that the carpet was a little dirty and our kids feet turned black from running around on it - though understandable being the beach and all the sand that gets tracked in. The carpets were well vacuumed just ready for a good steam cleaning. Though I would say that this was very minor compared to all the positives about the house. We highly recommend Atlantic Realty and this house to anyone looking to stay at the OBX.

This rental house was GREAT. We had 3 couples and it fit us very well. Everything worked very good. The layout was very good. If you had kids it would work well also because the game room is on the bottom floor away from the Great room/kitchen. I would rent this house again. Happy Vacation 2009
