We are regulars at this location (friends of owner) and each year it gets better. Love the upgrades to the upper level/bath. Looks great. The only issue (and not a big one) was that occassionally the TV would lose signal and the picture would be fuzzy for while. It always cleared up. The cable people did come one day but when they came the TV was working fine. Look forward to next year

This is a beautiful place to stay. We visited Ocracoke Island and the children were thrilled with the ferry. We also charted a boat for fishing from Bob's. The kids of all ages had a fun time and caught a few fish.

Really enjoyed Duck Views. We had a regular routine of going to the beach and then returning to the pool. Walking distance to town was very nice also. House was clean and comfortable. We would rent it again.

Immaculate and well stocked! The owners obviously look towards quality. After staying here for years, the owners continue to update and keep a well maintained, meticulous property. Being up on the hill allows for both ocean and sound views - we can sit on the screened porch, enjoy a drink, and don't have to go anywhere. Thank you to Pat and Jim for providing us with this amazing opportunity to enjoy a little piece of heaven!

I have enjoyed staying at this property, annually, for the past five years. I'm anxiously awaiting our sixth trip. The house is wonderful and really feels like a second home to me. Each year the house is immaculate, with new books to read, videos to watch, and new ammenities to enjoy. The home owners and realty company graciously award us with everything we need during our stay. This house is in the perfect location. It is perched on top of the hill, overlooking the ocean and the sound. The pool is such an added bonus for a family vacation. My hat's off to Pat and Jim, the owners, for investing so much effort in maintaining a more than suitable dwelling. Can't wait for our 2010 vacation!

This house is awesome! The location is the best. It was very easy to walk to where you needed to go. The shops, restaurants, and beach are all near by. The views were also wonderful! It was very relaxing and stress free to stay at this particular location! My family and I all loved it!

Great place for a family vacation. Loads of room and multiple options for entertainment. Tastefully furnished and exceptionall comfortable. Well maintained throughout. Location is just right...far enough from the road to have a secluded beach feel and easy walking distance to the beach.

A beautiful beach house where wonderful family memories were made. The house is well-equipped with all you need for a stress- free vacation. The views are absolutely breathtaking in either direction from the upper deck. Having the pool right there helped keep the kids entertained. We enjoyed being able to walk to the beach, the sound, or shopping in town. We also loved being able to easily drive to Kill Devil Hills and Hatteras as this was a once in a lifetime trip that we wanted to pack as much into as possible. We hope to be able to return some day!

This house is perfect!! We loved the fact that we were walking distance to the beach and the sound. In fact we really did not need to use our car for much. We walked to shop and eat, everything is close by. The house supplied us with everything we needed for a perfect and enjoyable vacation.

We had a great time in this house. We loved the location as well as the beach. The pool was wonderful for the children. Even if we didn't feel like packing up to go to the beach, we had the pool option which suited the children better. The kitchen was well equipped. We had the use of a lot of beach and pool toys. The only thing we used of ours was sand chairs. It has lots of porches to sit outside and even nice swings. We were amazed to look out the window and see deer in the next block on a vacant lot. Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful.
