6th trip to OBX since 95...Love the Carolina Dune area. My only dissappointment was that house was not very clean. When I go on vacation I don't want to vacuum before I even unpack... Dishes, blender & utensils were also dirty-bummer

A lovely rental with true ocean views and easy ocean access. It is clean, comfortable and well kept. While it has some more luxurious neighbors, it offers a reasonable alternative for the same location. We enjoyed staying at the Maryland Inn and would happily stay here again.

The house is accurately described as having ocean views. It is across the street from the oceanfront homes with a clear view of the ocean from the front deck. The house is neat, clean and comfortable. It is more modest, in size and ammenities, than some of its neighbors, and thus more reasonably priced. Some smaller details could be attended to, but overall, we were very happy with this rental, and have made a note of it for future visits.

While this house is older than some of the newer and bigger homes that have been developed in Duck the past several years, it provides a terrific value for young families. My wife and I stayed there with our 10 month old daughter with another couple and their child over Memorial Day week. We can not say enough about it. You are across the street from the ocean, with amazing views of sunrise on the ocean and sunset on the sound. The house is quite large, with ample room for 4 to 6 adults and babies/young children. It has been updated over the past year and features new beds, fresh paint, new dishwasher, new stove and laundry machines and wireless internet. If you want to be close to the beach and a short drive (or bike ride) to the village of Duck--in addition to less than 10 miles to Corolla--this is THE house for you! You can not find better value in all of Duck, unless you must absolutely overpay for a beachfront mansion to be satisfied with your vacation. The Maryland Inn has it all at the right price for young families.

Atlantic Realty knows what needs to be done to get you a beautiful home. The location of this home was just off the beach with a perfect view of the ocean and bayside sunsets. The multilevel wraparound porch gave us shade when needed during the day and great views of the ocean and stars at night. You can hear the waves at night from the top deck. I had read a previous review that stated the beds needed to be replaced; they must have been because we all felt comfortable in them. We must have been the first renters this season as the outdoor shower did not work and one of the toilets had a flushing issue, BUT with that being said; Atlantic Realty had a plumber there in two hours and corrected all issues.
