To start with check-in was a breeze - Anne from alantic Reality is wonderful doing all humanly possible to make your vacation a ... Vacation. The house? To put it short and sweet I would heartily recommend the Yellow Rose to family and friend. I would rate it a 10/10. While not right on the beach it is a close enough walk to the Ocean and the Sound. Linens, and extra with some homes are included - a big deal. The owners sent over a mid-week suprise - one gets the feeling that while aR directly administers the home, the owners a personally involved with your stay giving your stay a personal touch not often found anymore. It almost seems like it is really your home for the week. Its nice that the owners provide certain amenities as standard not wanting to net every last dime from your visit. The house is very comfortable - there was plenty of space for our extended family of 11. The king side beds in the bedrooms were very comfortable. Two kitchens are perfect. The location in Duck may be the best in the Outer Banks. The bottom line - this was one of the best vactions in 35 years. We wish you the same.

We really enjoyed the spaciousness of the house. Every bedroom with a bathroom is such a bonus. This was a great house for us being that we had only two small children and the rest adults. It was really sweet being sent a cake from the owners of our house - what a great way to end our day and dinner! :)

The house was very clean and well equiped. We highly enjoyed our stay. It was definitely the quietest most peaceful trip I have had in a very long time. If you are interested in renting, ask the rental company for anne. She was truly a pleasure to work with and took great care of us during our stay.

All five couples enjoyed a fabulous long weekend at the Yellow Rose for my son's wedding! The home was stocked with everything we needed and was conveniently located.

A lovely and spacious home that sits high on a hill between the Sound and the Atlantic. During our stay we had record breaking rainfall - 3 - 5 inches in a 24 hour period. Luckily, we chose this house for our stay and did not experience any of the flooding that occurred elsewhere in the Outer Banks. The house we stayed in last year in Corolla was completely flooded out. The folks at Atlantic Realty were extremely helpful and the owners of the home sent us a delicious cheesecake to celebrate our stay. The internet service is on the slow side. This might have been caused by the flooding as the cable went out for one day as well.

Atlantic realty was a great company to work with! They were very accommodating! We had one issue with the sheets not fitting the beds and they offered to get them replaced. We also found glass in the pool and they sent the pool man out within the hour to clean it up. The owners were also very gracious and sent over a cake during the week that we were there that we thoroughly enjoyed :) The house was within walking distance of both the sound side and the ocean, which was great. We didn't have much of a view from our house, but it was nice none-the-less. Would reccomend this house to others!!

The Yellow Rose is a beautiful home. We loved having separate bathrooms for each bedroom and our own pool. The elevator was extremely convenient as well. Our only disappointment was a broken big-screen TV in the media room for the entire week. A new TV arrived on the last night. Our understanding is that it took two weeks to replace the TV. The guys were looking forward to watching preseason football on the big screen. The house was very clean except for cigarette butts on the grounds by the pool and empty bottles left in the wine rack. The kitchens were well-equipped with cooking items and lots of dishes.

We usually rent at Stone Harbor NJ. This was a nice change of pace. House was very comfortable for 12. Clean, neat and well stocked. However, could have used a full size ironing board and gas grill.Close enough to the beach and sound. Easy walk to local shops. Atlantic Reality (Ashley) gave excellant service.
