We stayed in Jubilate in 2007 and 2008 and unfortunately stayed in a different property in 2010. While the hot tub and "game room" weren't in tip top shape, it's evident that this property is regularly used, maintained and appreciated by the owners -- there's a real personal touch here and attention to detail in terms of niceties (like a clothesline) that makes all the difference and really does make the stay so much more enjoyable than stays at obvious investment properties. properties. I'd love to return to Jubilate for another stay.

This was our third stay in Duck at Jubilate. We had beautiful weather and enjoyed our week. We are a family of 6, with children ranging in age from 3 to 17 and our two older children each brought a friend with them. The house is plenty big enough to accomadate all of us. My Mother-in-law joined us for two nights, since we had one bedroom that was not being used. We love all the decking and the short walk to the beach. The living area is large, but very confortable and the kitchen is well stocked. Our only complaint would be that the hot tub was not properly maintained and turned a horrible cloudy color on Tuesday. The kids love the hot tub, so it was a disappointment that they couldn't use it for most of the week. As we were leaving, the spa company had emptied it and were scrubbing it, trying to get it back in working order...just a bit too late for our stay, though. All in all, we had a great time and I'm sure that we will spend our next OBX vacation in Duck at Jubilate.

We had a fabulous time, definitely enhanced by a kid and adult friendly house!!! The house was well stocked with just about everything you could want. The only disappointment was the "game room". This was really a storage area with a foose ball table in it. We made use of all the amenities. The hot tub, was very popular, the sauna was used, the videos and library were wonderful. The room layout is very practical. The house is well insulated for sound, even a crying baby didn't disturb anyone up stairs. The location was wonderful and very important to us. With three small children it was nice to know stores were a walk away. Being close to the beach was fantastic. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook. We liked the cooler we were given. Nice house, wonderful vacation!!
