Just returned home after spending 2 weeks at Cheers. Cheers is tired, needs alot of updating. Beds were very comfortable, but the rug and furniture are in serious need of a do over. Location was great for the money untill we were harassed about going over a dune to get to ocean which made our trip to beach 1,000 ft instead of 500 ft as advertised. Atlantic Realty was wonderful with everything. All in all great vacation.

This is not a high-end house with any amenities other than indoor plumbing. No large screen TVs or hot tube, but you can't beat the value considering the location and price. It isn't very child/toddler friendly. Bring your own cookware if you are a "chef" that likes to cook. Atlantic Realty was the most responsive of all the companies we've rented from on the OBX. They helped us work out difficulties with the WiFi and had a plumber come and fix the kitchen faucet in a heartbeat after we dialed in the problem.

The house, although not as "fancy" as some others in the area, was spacious, comfortable, and well stocked (except for no teapot!). I love the 2 level decks and the deck swing. You can see and hear the ocean from the house, and the walk to the beach is a pretty easy one. It's in a great location..very close to supermarkets and shops, and the beach is not as crowded as some other towns south of Corolla. In all, we had a wonderful time!

We picked up our keys at 1:30aM- on Monday morning and quickly got to our beach house. Everything was fine and we thoroughly enjoyed the vacation and the house. The only problbem we had as the internet connection went down and we weren't successful in getting the service restored so my children (all young adults) couldn't access their Pc's and do some necessary work related efforts. But overall the accomdations were excellent and we had a beautiful week.

My family and I enjoyed the opportunity to escape the city and just relax and enjoy the great access to the ocean and to other amenities. Whether it was just reading a book or taking long walks along the shore, Cheers afforded us the opportunity. Cheers offered sufficient space to just relax and recharge the batteries - just what the doctor ordered after a hectic summer.

The house was located well and for the most part filled our needs. As with most rental properties, the carpet and such are getting a little tired. Corolla was a great place to vacation and we had a wonderful time. It would be nice to have a better grill and to trim the path that leads to the beach. Thanks
